We first became aware of Live NetTV a few years back as a solid IPTV app for streaming live European and Middle Eastern content. Since then its user base has grown and has done a good job implementing the majority of live US channels that cord-cutters are looking for.
Live NetTV is its own application, and does not require Kodi to be installed. You can download and use it in less than 3 minutes![widget id=”custom_html-13″]
How to Install Live NetTV
- Launch your Fire Stick and from the home screen scroll over to Settings> Developer Options> Apps from Unknown Sources> ON. While you are there toy should also turn ON ADB Debugging. Ignore the warning.
- Go Back to Home Screen and search for an app called Downloader. Install the app.
- Open Downloader and type https://livenettv.xyz in the address bar (make sure you type it in exactly). On this page, find and select the download button. Select Install APK. Open the app and start streaming!
How to use Live NetTV
Once you’ve selected a channel, click it and then you’ll be given a few different links to pick from. Sometimes streams will be down, so be patient and just try the following link. Once the stream is established the video quality is usually pretty solid. So far I’ve been able to get at least one link to work for every channel, which beats most Kodi Add-ons I’ve tested recently.
Again, if you are going to use an addon like Net TV you need to use a good VPN service like IPVanish, otherwise, you might get in trouble.
While Live NetTV is certainly a very good option for newcomers to IPTV for Fire Stick, we still were annoyed that we had many links for each channel, and the picture quality is the quality you’d expect from a free app. Perhaps we’re just used to Gears TV when for just $20 a month we could have full access to every channel including live sports and free pay-per-views on our Fire TV.
